SPELLBINDING SWITZERLAND

Switzerland is known for its chocolates, wines, cheese and of course banks. But it holds tremendous potential in its business and economy which has till now stayed in the boundaries of Europe. While the political relations between India and Switzerland are good and both also share the same kind of mindset, nothing should stop India Incorporated from tapping Switzerland

‘Heaven on Earth’ is the best description that can be put in words about this seductively beautiful land of delicious chocolates, fine cheese, wines and of course, not to forget, the world famous financial institutions. A member of the UN (since 2002), WHO, IMF, World Bank and OSCE, Switzerland has made its existence felt in every major decision, though it follows ‘neutrality’ in its world affairs (the Swiss are still not a part of the EU). It is their perfectionist view that has made them use everything they have to the optimum – even their natural beauty; tourism thus has always been a major sector. But Switzerland is radically more than just a utopian honeymoon destination.
