France has to accept the importance of making policies specifically for the disadvantaged minorities

Just a week after the Interior Minister of France, Nicolas Sarkozy declared a “war without mercy” on violence in the suburbs; suburbia’s violent youths waged a “war without mercy” against the authorities. The violence that started on October 27, after the accidental elec­trocution of two teenage kids (believed to have been chased by police) in the re­gion dominated by low-income housing projects, swelled and gave rise to French history’s most violent riots.
